الملخص

Religious pluralism has emerged as a significant concept in contemporary discussions on interfaith relations, particularly in increasingly diverse and globalized societies. It refers not merely to the coexistence of multiple religions, but to a deeper philosophical and theological recognition of diversity as meaningful and potentially valid. This article examines the concept of religious pluralism, tracing its intellectual foundations and distinguishing it from related notions such as tolerance and inclusivism. It further analyzes how pluralism shapes interfaith dialogue by fostering mutual respect, reducing conflict, and encouraging constructive engagement among different religious communities. At the same time, the study highlights the challenges posed by doctrinal exclusivism, identity politics, and misinterpretations of pluralism. The article concludes that while religious pluralism provides a strong framework for effective interfaith dialogue, its success depends on balanced interpretation, ethical commitment, and sincere engagement from all parties involved.
